Hyundai E&C became the sole winner of the project for remodeling the Yongin Suji Sinjeong Village Complex 9.
On January 9th, the Remodeling Project Association for Yongin Suji Sinjeong Village Complex 9 (President Sung Ki-hyeon, hereunder “Association”) announced Hyundai E&C as the final builder for the project, following the extraordinary general meeting held in Dongcheon-dong, Suji-gu, Yongin-si to select the builder for the project. This first order of the year won by Hyundai E&C comes as more significant as the company recorded no.1 for urban redevelopment projects, far ahead of other competitors, with record sales of 4.74 trillion Korean won.
The Yongin Suji Sinjeong Village Complex 9 remodeling is a 228 billion won budget project aiming to extend the 9 apartment buildings of B1 ~ 20th floor of the Sinjeong Village Complex 9 public housing with 812 households located in 76, Pungdeokcheon-ro, Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do to 9 buildings of B3~23rd floor with 914 households.
Hyundai E&C will name the complex as “Hillstate Great Nine” and showcase Korea’s top-class residential masterpiece ranging from high-tech amenities, latest specialized design, luxury finishing materials etc.

The Yongin Suji Sinjeong Village Complex 9 is at a walking distance from Suji-gu District Office of Sinbundang Subway Line and is located adjoining the Sinwol Elementary School, boasting top-notch transportation and education facilities, with magnificent natural environment such as Sinjeong Park, Jungpyeong Stream and is ideally located in the vicinity of amenities like district office, library, and big marts.
Hyundai E&C established a remodeling unit within the housing business division last December to strengthen relevant capacity and has been jointly awarded a project for remodeling the Yongin Suji Hyundai Sungwoo Complex 8 with POSCO E&C as a result of its efforts to proactively strengthen competitiveness in securing new deals in new businesses.
