Hyundai E&C added to the DJSI World for 11 consecutive years, the first in Asia

Hyundai E&C has been added to the 2020 DJSI World 11 years in a row and selected as the Industry Leader eight times in the construction and engineering sector. These achievements have made Hyundai E&C become the only winner not only in Korea and but also in the Asian region. 

The DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability Indices) is announced by the US-based global financial information company S&P Global after the annual evaluation of business performance of companies as well as their achievement regarding creation of environmental and social values. Only top 10 percent of the companies evaluated can be added to the DJSI World. In 2020, the application of more stringent criteria decreased assessment points given to the evaluated companies, while Hyundai E&C achieved higher scores compared to the previous year and further extended our lead by proactively responding to environmental and social issues.

Earlier, Hyundai E&C received  Grade A three years in a row in the 2020 Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) evaluation released by the Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS).
